Service Description

A rope bowl is a decorative and functional item made by coiling and stitching together lengths of rope, creating a sturdy container that’s perfect for holding small household items like keys, fruit, or even as a stylish storage solution. You will need general class supplies, as well as a zig-zag foot with a good visual center for guiding rope. Supplies for the class that are available at the store: synthetic clothesline rope, 1/4 yard of fabric (if you want to cover your rope), thread to match fabric/rope, heavy duty machine needle 90/14, small 6" ruler or tape measure, heat erasable marking tool and stiletto/or tweezers/or chopstick).   Optional book: Zigzag Rope Sewing Projects by Katherine Lyle. Items for class not available at the store are: cellophane tape, accesories (buttons, charms, etc) and a glue stick.  The $50 fee is for the class only.  Supplies bought for the class at our store are 20% off.
