Flipping Out 1/10/26 and 1/17/26
The ByAnnie Flipping Out pattern is a sewing design for sturdy, zippered storage cases that cleverly convert into desktop stands. It comes in two sizes and is ideal for organizing pens, pencils, sewing tools, knitting needles, and other supplies. It is also a beautiful wine bottle holder; you can add a corkscrew to it, too! Mayla is teaching this fun, beginner friendly class. The cost of the 2-day class is $100. This does not include the supplies. You will need (2) half yards of coordinating fabrics, byannies soft and stable (15" x 24"), a half yard of fusible interfacing, mesh/elastic, a 30" zipper, and thread. Apron Serger Class 1/27 and 1/29
Come learn your serger with this wonderful Serger Apron Class. You can make a Large, Medium or Small (kid size) apron. You will learn wonderful techniques, including a bias strip. To make the adult size your will need two 1-yard coordinating pieces. To make the child size you will need two 3/4-yard coordinating pieces. You will need to bring your serger, general sewing supplies, 2 spools of decorative thread, 3 spools of white thread and 3 spools of regulars serger thread, similar in color to your decorative thread. Beginning Quilting Class 2/7 and 2/21
Learn how to quilt or get a refresher with this fun beginner's quilt. You can choose these fabrics or come in and pick your own! You will need to purchase The Easy Peasy quilt book ($15.95), 3-yards of fabric for the quilt topper and thread. (We will be having a free motion quilting class soon, so stay tuned and you can sign up with your new topper! You will need General Class Supplies. Tumbling Block 2/28/26
Join Dawn Marie for this fun Tumbling block class! She will show you 3 ways to make these blocks. Pattern is included. You will need General Class Supplies, Other supplies, 6 1/2" square ruler, a longer ruler to cut strips 1 1/2 yards of light fabric, 1 1/2 yards of dark fabric, 1/2 yard for inner border, 1 yard for outer border, 1/2 yard for binding, 3 1/2 yards for backing (44 in width), and you will need (64) 4 3/4 inch squares (these are on point, so if you would like to fussy cut or if you are using directional fabric, just be aware). Mondo/Midi/Bitty Bag Class Coming soon
We will do this class sometime next year. The Mondo Bag is the perfect bag for the beach, a weekend away, or even a diaper bag! Enjoy easy construction with perfect points! Bag bottom is about 10" square with 15" tall sides and features an interior pocket and loop for clip-on keychains! You could also do the Midi or Bitti bag, if you would like. You will need general supplies, see our "CLASSES" page for description. If you do not have a pattern, it is $24.95 (you will get 20% off of anything you buy from us for the class).
