Gelato Dress 1/20/26 and 1/22/26
The Liesl & Co. Gelato Dress (also known as the Gelato Blouse + Dress) is a relaxed, pull‑on sewing pattern that offers both a casual A‑line dress and a peplum blouse variation. The ByAnnie Side Hustle pattern is a versatile sewing design for a streamlined sling bag/fanny pack that keeps essentials secure while leaving your hands free. It’s designed for comfort, functionality, and style, with options to customize size and straps. There are three zippered sections to organize wallet, phone, passport, and other essentials. Apron Serger Class 1/27 and 1/29
Come learn your serger with this wonderful Serger Apron Class. You can make a Large, Medium or Small (kid size) apron. You will learn wonderful techniques, including a bias strip. To make the adult size your will need two 1-yard coordinating pieces. To make the child size you will need two 3/4-yard coordinating pieces. You will need to bring your serger, general sewing supplies, 2 spools of decorative thread, 3 spools of white thread and 3 spools of regulars serger thread, similar in color to your decorative thread. Beginning Quilting Class 2/7 and 2/21
Learn how to quilt or get a refresher with this fun beginner's quilt. You can choose these fabrics or come in and pick your own! You will need to purchase The Easy Peasy quilt book ($15.95), 3-yards of fabric for the quilt topper and thread. (We will be having a free motion quilting class soon, so stay tuned and you can sign up with your new topper! You will need General Class Supplies. Tumbling Block 2/28/26
Join Dawn Marie for this fun Tumbling block class! She will show you 3 ways to make these blocks. Pattern is included. You will need General Class Supplies, Other supplies, 6 1/2" square ruler, a longer ruler to cut strips 1 1/2 yards of light fabric, 1 1/2 yards of dark fabric, 1/2 yard for inner border, 1 yard for outer border, 1/2 yard for binding, 3 1/2 yards for backing (44 in width), and you will need (64) 4 3/4 inch squares (these are on point, so if you would like to fussy cut or if you are using directional fabric, just be aware). Serger Placemat Class 2/18/26-picture coming soon
Make these fun beginner placemats with Carol. This is a fun way to relearn your serger! You will not need a sewing machine, Serger only. Pattern is included with the class. In addition to general class supplies you will need: 1/2 yard main fabric, 1 Fat Quarter of coordinating fabric, 1/2 yard of Shape Flex SF101, 1/2 yard of fusible fleece, clips, and Fray Check (all of these are available at our store for 20% off with paid class). You will also need serger thread, which we do not sell at the store yet...you will need 2 spools of MaxiLock "stretch" thread (one black, one white for wave stitch, or just a single color for satin stitch) and 1 spool of thread to match one of the previous colors. Ultimate Travel Bag 2.0 3/7/26, 3/14/26, AND 3/21/26
Join Malya for this amazing class. Supply list coming soon. The cost of the class will be $150, plus supplies. In addition to General Class Supplies, you will need: 1 1/2 yards of fabric, 1 1/2 yards of coordinating fabric, a 1/2 yard of mesh/elastic OR 5/8ths yard of fabric for pockets, soft and stable 54x58, 1/8th yard of SF101, 5 yards of strapping, 2-30" double sided zippers, 2-1 1/2" triangle rings, 1 1/2" slider, 2-1 1/2" swivel hooks, base stabilizer, and thread to match. Any supplies you buy for the class will be 20% off.
Anna Bag Class March 10-12th
Anna is a trendy tote that has been designed for intermediate sewers! The finished size is 17-1/2" wide, 15" high, and 5” deep. Additional pockets can be added to the lining on your own if you want interior pockets. Carol is teaching this 3-day class, the fee for the class $130. In addition to General Class Supplies, you will need Teflon foot and clips. Bag supplies needed: Anna pattern, 1/3-yard main fabric, 1/3 of contrasting fabric, 1/3 yard for lining, 3/4 yard of cork (contrast b fabric), 2 1/2 yards of Shape Flex-SF101, thread to match cork, soft and stable 18" x 58", basting spray, glue stick or basting tape, a stiletto and an 18" zipper (you can buy a 30" and cut it). Mondo/Midi/Bitty Bag Class Coming soon
The Mondo Bag is the perfect bag for the beach, a weekend away, or even a diaper bag! Enjoy easy construction with perfect points! Bag bottom is about 10" square with 15" tall sides and features an interior pocket and loop for clip-on keychains! You could also do the Midi or Bitti bag, if you would like.
