In class, Linda will guide you through cutting and assembling mini-Dresden blades, building the neighborhood ring, adding doors and rooftops, and finishing your piece with a crisp background and border. You’ll learn tips for precision piecing, color placement, and appliqué techniques that make each little house stand out. The result is a vibrant, modern wall hanging that’s as fun to make as it is to display. Perfect for confident beginners and seasoned quilters who love projects with charm, movement, and a touch of whimsy. Come stitch a neighborhood full of character (you can do your neighborhood, a Christmas neighborhood, or a Halloween neighborhood—your mini Dresden village is ready to be created! Cost of the class is $50, plus Supplies. Supplies needed: Dresden Plate 18 degree ruler, 3/4 yard of Steam-a-Seam2, Marking tool, Dresden Neighborhood Pattern, 2/3 yard of background, (20) 9" x 4" pieces for your houses, 20 (2.5" x 4.5") for your roofs, (20) 1" x 3" for your doors, (20) 1.5" x 2.5" for windows, and (2) 5" squares for the middle circle.
